Privacy Policy
Jira User Manager - Bulk Admin is a Chrome extension that helps administrators review Atlassian Jira Cloud users in a side panel. This policy explains what data the extension processes, why it is needed, and how it is stored.
What the extension does
The extension lets a user connect a Jira Cloud site, verify credentials, unlock a local secure session, and view a filtered directory of Atlassian users.
Data the extension processes
- Jira Cloud site URL
- Atlassian account email entered by the user
- Jira Cloud API token entered by the user
- Encrypted connection metadata stored locally in the browser
- User directory data returned by Jira Cloud, such as display names, account IDs, status, and email addresses when available
How credentials are stored
The Jira Cloud API token is encrypted locally before it is saved. The extension does not store the master password used to encrypt the token. An unlocked session is kept only in browser session storage and is cleared when the user locks the extension, disconnects the site, or restarts the browser.
How data is used
The extension uses the data only to connect to Jira Cloud, verify access, and display user-management information inside the extension UI. The extension does not sell personal data and does not use collected data for advertising.
Data sharing
Data is sent only to the Jira Cloud site selected by the user through Atlassian REST API requests. The extension does not send data to any third-party analytics or advertising service.
Retention
Saved connection metadata remains in the browser until the user disconnects the Jira site or removes the extension. Session unlock data is temporary and cleared at the end of the browser session.
