Privacy Policy
Link Preview & SEO Meta Tags Checker is a Chrome extension that reads metadata from the active page when the user opens the popup. This policy explains what data the extension processes and how it is used.
Data the extension processes
- The active tab URL and page title
- Open Graph and Twitter Card metadata on the active page
- Meta description, canonical URL, favicon, and heading structure
- Preview image URL and image size metadata when available
- Presence and contents needed to check the site's
llms.txtfile
How data is stored
The extension does not store inspected page metadata persistently. The data is read when the popup is opened and displayed inside the popup for the current inspection session.
How data is used and shared
Data is used only to render the link preview, SEO diagnostics, heading list, and llms.txt check. The extension may request the preview image URL or llms.txt URL from the inspected site to verify availability or metadata, but it does not send inspected page data to analytics, advertising, or tracking providers.
Permissions
The extension uses activeTab, tabs, and scripting
so it can read metadata from the active page only after the user opens the popup.
No sale or advertising use
The extension does not sell personal data, does not use data for advertising, and does not send data to analytics or tracking providers.
